Every year, I set a goal to read books that will change and challenge my mindset, fuel my growth, and equip me to live an intentional life. In 2024, I read 24 books from February to December. One book stood out above the rest: Millionaire Success Habits, written and authored by Dean Graziosi.

When and Why, I Picked It Up
I picked the book up from my boss’s library during a period of my life when I felt stuck. To me, I was doing all the right things—working hard, setting personal goals, staying busy—but I was not seeing the breakthrough or the results I needed or hoped for. Something was not right and missing, but I could not put my finger on it.
Then I read this book.
Core Takeaways from the Book
What I found wasn’t just a tip for growing a business or earning more money. To me, it was a framework for transforming and inspiring the way I think, act, see myself, and approach each day God blesses me with.
Dean does not speak from theory alone; he speaks from his own and his friends’ personal, real experiences and struggles. That made all the difference to me.

One moment that really hit home was when he spoke about “don’t let go of the wheel.” I realized I had been chasing goals without following through. I would easily give up because I hadn’t connected those goals to something meaningful.
The lack of clarity was draining my energy and momentum. I was waiting for a shift in the economy, someone to intervene on my behalf, or fate to present me with the winning lottery ticket. I became the thermometer instead of the thermostat. I let go of the wheel, and it shouldn’t have stayed that way.
Building Practical, Daily Habits
I took the time, as the author suggested, using the farmer’s story as an example. To change that farmer’s direction and destination, he didn’t have to make a dramatic 180-degree turn. It isn’t like a New Year’s resolution, where you feel the need to change everything about yourself. You don’t have to wake up tomorrow morning and start an entirely new routine. All you have to do is put yourself in the position of that farmer and turn the wheel a quarter of an inch. Just a tiny shift.
I got brutally honest about what I want and why I want it. That shift alone gave me a fresh wave of focus and motivation.
Another turning point I gained from the book was having a clear vision for my life—by stopping the waste of time on things that don’t serve my dreams, my goals, or my growth. My actions would now have purpose, and my hours would be spent achieving those goals. Procrastination would no longer have power because I would know, with 100% certainty, that I cannot put things off until tomorrow. So, get your vision clear and work daily using the habits you have learned over time.
These habits, I acquired through my own trial and error as well as those I’ve borrowed from other super-successful people. Once I developed a vision for myself, things became so clear. It felt as if I had gotten a new pair of glasses and didn’t realize how outdated my old prescription had become.
The Personal Shift
Another turning point came when I unpacked the idea of invisible beliefs. I had no idea how many subtle, limiting thoughts were shaping my choices. “Maybe I’m not ready,” “What if I fail”—all the usual suspects. But for the first time, I had practical tools to recognize and replace those thoughts. I even wrote a new, empowering belief on a sticky note and put it on my desk: “I am becoming the kind of person who follows through.”
Why It Stands Out in 2024
The beauty of Millionaire Success Habits is that it is not about chasing money. It is about becoming the kind of person who creates consistent, lasting success in any area of life. It helped me build better mornings, rethink how I set goals, and take action from a place of purpose instead of pressure.
Final Thought and Recommendation
If you feel like you are meant for more but don’t quite know how to access it, I can’t recommend this book enough. It is a reminder that success is not found in one big moment. It is built quietly and steadily through small decisions made with clarity and intention.
This book didn’t just give me motivation. It gave me momentum. And for that reason, it was one of the most impactful books I read in 2024. It helped me realign with my values and take control of the small things that, over time, create big results. That’s why it earns a top spot on my 2024 reading list; and why I will probably be revisiting it again and again.
“There are a million different paths to success. But with all of those options, I have learned that the fastest way to success involves one option above all others. When success habits become your new routine, your life can change dramatically.”
